Scientific Publications: Setting groundwork on district energy systems modeling

With over 60 scientific publications, 2,000 citations and an h-index of 20, my work has focused on advancing urban energy systems through tools like the City Energy Analyst (CEA) and innovative methods for modeling energy use at the district scale. I’ve worked to integrate spatial, behavioral, and systems-level insights into urban energy planning, helping cities transition toward more sustainable and efficient futures. Through collaborations with institutions such as ETH Zürich and EPFL, my work continues to support data-driven strategies for shaping the cities of tomorrow.
